Why DriverGenius CUG3125 USB-C 2.5G Network Adapter Only Goes 1Gbps on Windows 11

Posted by DriverGenius Shop on

The specs for this product look impressive, however, the functionality is not the best. Kindly advise how I can optimize the driver details for this adapter. I'm running Windows 11 on an HP Spectre laptop, which has a USB Type C 4.0 Thunderbolt 4 connection. AGAIN Type C FOUR not 3. and Thunderbolt FOUR not 3. Theoretically, this port can go as high as 40 Gb/s. My connection subscription speed with the provider is 1 Gb/s. Please Advise ASAP.

The DriverGenius CUG3125 supports 2.5G/1000Mbps/100Mbps/10Mbps 4 different speed modes. & The USB-C bandwidth is still based on 5Gbps (USB3.1 Gen 1). So please go like this and check the Software & hardware accompanied.

a. Download the latest Windows 11 Driver for DriverGenius CUG3125

b. The Ethernet cable must meet the CAT6 standards.

c. Check the Router or other Network Device are 2.5G compatible. Otherwise, the DriverGenius CUG3125 only runs the lowest speed according the Network Devices.
